Bharatnatyam, it is one of the most ancient dance types in the history of India. Originated from the state of Tamilnadu, it has received enough popularity all over India. Bharatnatyam is a combination of words like Bha (Bhava), Ra (Raga), Ta (Tala) and Natya (Nartan). When performed in harmony it is a beautiful combination of expression of emotions in rhythm with support of complementary musical notes.
Our Guru Mrs. Dhanashree Lomte has 18 years of rich experience of teaching this dance format. She got her training from respected Mrs. Swati Datar, Pt. Ravi Sharma (Art society of Mumbai), and Guru Nilambari Bahadarpure. She also got guidance from Guru Sucheta Bhide-Chapekar and Guru Swati Daithankar. She had completed her master in Bharatnatyam dance style.
She is founder of Kalasiddhi Nritryalaya and until date, she had trained more than 1200 girls from various semi-urban places like Saswad, Hadapsar, Jejuri, Nira, Bhor, and Shirwal. She had made her efforts to teach this dance style at all possible rural places where getting a professional expert is a real difficulty. Recently she had organized “Arangetram” of best of her eight students at Saswad, news of which was also telecasted on IBN Lokmat.
She has proposed the idea of All India Dance Conference and successfully held the first conference at Pune and second conference at Nashik. She had received the second price at the International Dance Competition, which was held in Dubai. She had performed many live stage shows in front of dignities like Mr. Amitabh Bacchan, Sharad Upaddhye, and Late Vilasrao Deshmukh. Many of her shows were telecasted on channels like E-TV and DD national.
